Location Data
Background location is collected only during active shifts to verify job completion and ensure officer safety.
Camera & Photo Access
Camera Access
Blue Dispatch uses your device's camera only when you choose to take a job-related photo inside the app. The app will never access your camera without your explicit action and permission. Photos captured through the camera are uploaded securely to our servers for job documentation and are not used for any other purpose.
Photo Library Access
When you select a photo from your device's photo library, Blue Dispatch accesses only the specific images you choose. The app does not scan, collect, or store unrelated images from your device. Selected photos are uploaded securely to our servers for job documentation and verification.
How We Use Your Information
To provide and maintain app features (job booking, shift tracking, mileage logging). To enhance user experience and improve our services. To communicate important updates or support responses. To comply with legal and safety obligations (e.g., confirming on-duty presence).
Data Retention & Security
We retain personal data only as long as needed for job tracking, accounting, or legal requirements. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel.
Your Rights & Choices
You may request a copy of your data in a portable format. We will respond to data requests within 30 days. You can also enable or disable location and notification permissions in your device settings (note: disabling may limit app functionality).
End of Watch - Data Removal
If you need to request the removal of your data from our system, you can do so directly from within the Blue Dispatch app. Navigate to the Account section and tap the "Remove My Data" button to initiate the process. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
